Vertical sculpture made of stacked stones of various colors and sizes, tied together with string, mounted on a wooden base in a minimal gallery space.

SEQUENCE

Sequence is a series of collectible ceramic works structured through stacking, rhythm, and balance. Each piece is composed from components produced using distinct ceramic processes—hand-built, slab-built, extruded, and altered thrown forms—each introducing its own structural logic and constraint.

Form is not predetermined, but resolved through material response and measured adjustment. Weight, alignment, and tension are negotiated until the structure reaches a state of visual and physical equilibrium. Symmetry is used selectively, and restrained surfaces and controlled palettes emphasize clarity over expression.

Conceived as sculptural ceramics for interior environments, the Sequence works function as spatial anchors—architectural objects positioned between design and sculpture, defined by accumulation, orientation, and balance.
